Some things to try:

1) Manually register MyMeta.dll

C:\\WINDOWS\\Microsoft.NET\\Framework\\v1.1.4322>regasm \"c:\\program
files\\mygeneration\\mymeta.dll\" /tlb:MyMeta.tlb

2) Hand Edit the Default Settings to see if you can get it to come up:

Make sure you either add/modify these settings to match these values in
your DefaultSettings.xml file, note, some of thes entries might exists,
others may not, either add them of modify existing ones to match these
values. If you get an error send it to us. If it comes up open the default
settings dialog in MyGeneration and try connecting to your database, the
settings below have it set to no-database.

<DefaultSettings Version=\"1.1.0.0\" FirstTime=\"false\">
<Setting Name=\"CheckForNewBuild\" value=\"False\" />
<Setting Name=\"DbDriver\" value=\"NONE\" />
<Setting Name=\"ConnectionString\" value=\"\" />

Also, you could try running this command:

msdtc -resetlog
