The same

I'm experiencing the same behavior with the Sql Server 2005 Express Edition running with .NET 2.0 and XP. I tried both SQLOLEDB.1 and SQLCLI.1 providers.

The same occurs with an Access database using Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider.

I'm using MyGeneration 1.1.7.1.

This bug was fixed in the latest build we put out a day ago. Everyone was getting that error with the build before that. Thanks for the feedback. We've got most of the nasty bugs taken care of. There are a couple minor bugs left that we need to trace down, but it's getting much better!

I have just downloaded 1.1.7.1 from these forums and I get a crash as soon as I click on "Default Settings".

download the version on the homepage. That's the latest! I had posted a link to an earlier one on the forums. I'll delete them to clear up the confusion.

Working backwards 1.1.6 works.

Oh, I know whats going on there. MyMeta has a new COM identity in 1.1.7, which of course means that any compiled assembly that is plugged into a template would need to be recompiled with the new MyMeta DLL. We definitely need to think through all of the dependancies when releasing 1.1.7, because there are definitely some issues we need to work out a process for.
